Want More Food? Grow More Flowers!

Here are some tips for successful pollinator attracting:

Select plants with showy flowers. The showier the flower, the more likely the bees will be attracted to it. If possible, plant native flowers. Click here for a list of flowers that attract pollinators.
Plant larger groupings of flowers – not just a single one or two here or there. Larger grouping make the bees’ task easier and encourage them to stick around.
Avoid pesticides and herbicides and provide a source of clean water.
